Our Design Process: From First Consultation to Final Fitting

We talk to many clients who have considered bespoke furniture for years but held off because the process felt unclear. What happens after you make the call? How long does it take? What decisions will you need to make?

Here is a clear account of how we work, from first contact through to a completed installation.

Step 1: Home consultation

Everything begins with a visit to your home. Our designer will come to your property, see the space and listen carefully to what you have in mind. This is not a sales visit — it is a genuine design conversation.

We will take measurements, look at the light conditions, discuss your storage needs and talk through materials, finishes and styles that suit the room. There is no cost and no obligation.

Step 2: Design and proposal

After the consultation, we produce scaled drawings of the proposed design along with a material specification and quotation. You will be able to see exactly what you are getting before you commit to anything.

We present material samples at a second visit so you can see and feel the actual finishes. Designs can be revised freely at this stage — nothing moves to production until you are completely happy.

Step 3: Manufacturing

Once you approve the design and place a deposit, manufacturing begins. Our sliding wardrobes are produced in Denmark by our Nordikka manufacturing partner — precision-engineered to your exact measurements. Kitchens, fitted furniture, walk-in wardrobes and steel doors are crafted by our local Hertfordshire team.

Lead times are typically 8–12 weeks from design sign-off. We will keep you informed throughout.

Step 4: Installation

Our own fitting team handles the full installation. We do not use subcontractors. The team arrives, prepares the space carefully, fits everything to the agreed design and snags every detail before leaving.

The process is clean and methodical. Most installations are complete within one to three days depending on the scope.

Step 5: Aftercare

All our products come with a 25-year warranty. If anything is ever not right, we come back and fix it. Our clients have our direct contact details, not a helpline.
